The actual color is a little darker than this image
The lock is functioning and tight working perfectly!
The three piece stock is silver bronze braised as original just in front of the frizen area as shown - looks like a crack but isn't.
True color is darker bronze silver like on discription page

Barrel shroud can be taken off for inspection and oiling.
One silver bronze braze has over time fractured but stock is well intact and very strong and mighty!
Took screw out of barrel shroud and forgot to put it back in for photo
Depth on barrel engraving is hard to pick up with digital camera -
its deeper!
